Ipsy Glam Bag: August

I am finally settled in tot he new house ( sorta) so I have a little time to sit down and write some posts for the blog. First thing is first, The Ipsy Glam Bag reveal for August!! Yay!!!

Well This was the second month in a row I was not happy :( But of course I must write anyways!! So here we are!!

First we have the Pixi Beauty Lash Booster in Blackest Black. Of course this was a trial size. I have not actually use this and am a bit nervous to do so since the reviews are not good. As I said in my sneak peek, It is said that it is really hard to get off. No girl wants a mascara that is harder to get off then they already are!

Price: $17.00 for a full size

Next we got the MicaBeauty Eye Shadow In Bronze. This is a really pretty eye shadow. Its a loose powder so you barely have to dab the brush in it to get a lot! I have never used MicaBeauty brand before so it was fun to try another eye shadow brand!

 Price: $14.95

Next is the City Color Cheek Stain. I did not really want this just becuase I feel like we are always getting blush products in the bags lately. Or maybe its just because I have tons. Also I love my powder blush so am bias. I always worry about make up not being blended enough and with this is would be horrible if I didnt blend it all the way.

Price: $2.99

Another Product we got in our August bag was the Pumpkin Nutrient- Rich Facial Mask by Michael Todd. I havent tried this yet becuase I am still getting settled in and have barely any time to even put on make up let alone do a facial mask lol. I am not huge on products like this so it wasnt something I was excited about but it could be fun to try. Who knows, maybe it will be amazing!

Price: $34.00 for a full size

Last from the August bag was the Noya Lip Balm. This is the product I was really annoyed about. I dont use anything but strawberry carmex if I am not using lip gloss or lip stick, I said that in my profile. So to get this OVER the Urban Decay Lip stick was horrible!! This will rarely be used! It does smell good though!

Price: $3.99

I also got a bonus product which was the Urban Decay Moondust eyeshadow for referring two more people. I a excited to try this product as soon as I decide I should put on some make up! :)

Price: $20.00

Well there it is!! August Ipsy Glam bag!! Although I wasnt thrilled about this bag, I still love Ipsy and cant wait to see the sneak peeks for September!!!

I can officially relax, almost

Today is our last day in Idaho. In fact, we only have 13 hours left in this State. In fact today, I hate this state. There is so much smoke in the air from these fires its horrible. I cant wait to leave.

I have been stressed up to my ears because of this whole buying our first house and doing it from a different state without even seeing it in real life. But I am happy to say we are finished! We now officially own a beautiful house in Huron Ohio. If you didnt see my first post about it, here it is.

It is a perfect house for us for these next 4 ( or more) years. That was such a huge relief to be done. Its so exciting. I dont think it has really hit M yet because he hasnt seen the house in real life. It has hit me, only because I can finally breathe well as much as I can with this smoke hehehe jk. This portion of the move, which was obviously HUGE,  is finished. Now its all about making this home ours as soon as we get there.

M is completely out processed from this base as of two hours ago.  That was the last step! Things are all falling into place when I honestly thought they werent going to. Ms Charger is being delivered to his mom in Ohio tomorrow which is 2/3 days earlier then expected. Also our driver for the household goods told us our stuff should arrive the 19/20th. Thats before we get there! Thank goodness Ms mom has a POA to receive it so we dont have to wait.

We are also able to leave a day early, tomorrow, then planned. We will still arrive the same day as planned but we are just splitting up that last day so M doesnt have to drive 12+ hours that day, and we can pull up to our home in the day time instead of 10PM.

Now I am just full of excitement instead of stress ad its amazing. Although I am not crazy about these next 5 days and the 32 hours we will be driving during them, it will be a fun adventure. We have driven those roads many times before but this is it, the last time. We do not ever have to drive them again AND it will be the road to our new home! Not to mention we get to see my dad, who is meeting us at our first stop in Cheyenne for dinner since they are only a few hours away. Then we are taking MJ to the Omaha Zoo Sunday which is supposed to be amazing!! We will take the labs to doggy day camp and Petsmart so they arent locked up in the hotel, and Maui gets the hotel to herself because she hates people and dogs. It will be a nice little break from sitting in the car not to mention MJ finally gets to see more animals that should be at a zoo, like an elephant. Poor kid goes every few weeks and has never seen one.  Maybe I am more excited for this then anyone.

So here we go, my last post ever written from Mt Home AFB ID. Sad. Exciting. Strange.

Thankful Monday should be fabulous these next two weeks!

Just a few days left

Today is Friday before the movers come. We have just over 2 days until they arrive to pack and load up what is left of our stuff. I am sitting at the dining room table, because we gave our desk away, and its total chaos. My house and my life. lol JK but the house, I see boxes randomly placed on tables and floors. I have one empty room, a living room full of new furniture that is still wrapped in paper leaving it looking like a Ghost house, and just mess everywhere. Well everywhere except Mjs room that is. I have done pretty well leaving his alone and organized as I packed up his stuff we are taking. The rest of the house is a mess enough, and Im sure he has no idea what is going on. So I wanted to leave his room as normal as possible, for as long as possible. My pantry is empty besides one shelf of stuff we are taking into TLF on Monday. MONDAY can you believe it. How long have I been talking about getting out of this state?? Since I got here lol But this is it. We leave in one week. We have three nights left in our home, the one we brought our baby boy home from the hospital in!!! Tons of memories were made in this home, in our backyard, on this base.

We have been saying bye to friends for the past week. We had mine, and a friends, going away dinner with the Spouses Thursday night in Boise. It was amazing. Those ladies have been my rock for ever it feels like. Some I will miss, others I wont, and some Im so sad to leave.

We loaded up most of the Uhaul today besides a few things we need in the next few days. Every time I look out the window it is a reminder that we have to say goodbye to our closest friends next Friday. But it is also a reminder of all of Ms hard work and dedication to his job and his family in order to get us to where we want to be. It is exciting and nerve wracking all in one. I am stressed with the stuff that needs to be done this last week and we both are dreading the 32 hour drive with a toddler and three dogs. But I know when we pull up to our new home, the first home we have actually bought together, no matter how late it is,  we will have a wave of relief come over us. We will be home. To our new home. Where MJ will spend the next 4 years of his life and we will make more memories, more then we had in this home.

I am excited for that moment. That moment, will make all this worth it.

Ipsy: August Glam Bag Sneak Peek

Here we are another month coming too fast. Well the one thing I enjoy about these months flying by is that we are closer to getting our next Ipsy bag!!!  The sneak peeks are already up and most everyone is excited for this month!! So here we go!! August sneak peeks for the Ipsy Glam bag!!

Sneak Peek #1

Pro-lips at your fingertips from start to finish with one of these awesome August Glam Bag items.

Well pretty much everyone already knows that the lip stick is Urban Decay so we are all very excited! What an awesome brand to have in out August bag right?? The colors are bright but I would love to have one to try!! Now the other product seems to be the disappointment to most Ipsy subscribers. it is said to be the Noya Lip Balms. Now remember we get one of the two so I have already read most Ipsy subscribers already upset by the chance of them getting the Lip balm of the UD lipstick, and of course I will be too if thats the case!

Sneak Peek #2

Skin perfection is in session with one of these awesome August Glam Bag items!

I just want to say I love Ipsys sneak peek pictures this month. lol IDK why I just do. Now for this sneak peek one bottle has been confirmed as being the Michael Todd True Organics Jojoba Scrub and the other we are thinking to be their pumpkin mask. Trying different face products are always fun!

Sneak Peek #4

Boost your look from good to glam with this eye-popping item!

This is said to be the Pixi Lash Booster Mascara. I myself have never heard of it but from what Ipsy Subscribers are saying about the reviews they read, it is horrible to try and get off. We all know that sucks in a Mascara. I have already heard a few people saying they will give this away without a chance.

Sneak Peek #5

Class is in session with TWO of these amazing items in your August Glam Bag!

Well this bag is full of disappointment it seems. If you have been a glam bag subscriber, you will notice a few of these products that were from pervious bags, one being from LAST MONTH. I know it is only $10 but I can assure you, not many of us want duplicates when I doubt anyone is finished with the first ones we got. So here it is
The Polish is the Straight Up Nail Lacqure in MaTia from last month
NYX Crea blush
Looks like SmashBox Photo Finish primer - which I wouldnt mind getting
City color Cheek stain- which is new but I feel like we have gotten a TON of cheeck stains or blushes lately.
 Possibly
Mica Bella Earth eye shadow/highlighter
Pixi Eye Bright liner or Chella brow liner
 Pacifica BB Cream.

Sneak Peek #5

Get ready to learn about what Glamour is all about this August.

Here is Sneak Peek #5!! Of course we already have ladies mentioning how they do not like that bag. Well we all cant be happy all the time right? I think its a pretty cute bag. They all may not be my pick but we get a new one every month so its fun to see what they come up with!

Well there it is!!! The August Ipsy Glam Bag Sneak Peeks!!!!!

Thankful Monday

Thankful Monday

That M is finally home with us!

That we leave Idaho in LESS then 2 weeks!!

That we hired someone to do our out processing cleaning so we have one less thing to stress about the last week

That MJ has done well with M being home and they are back to being BFFs

There are only 4 today because I am really struggling to think of a 5th this morning. This morning is not going the way I had hoped and it seems as though every time I turn around, something else goes wrong. I am ready for these two weeks to be over.
